Doctor Who 50th Anniversary

Doctor Who is one of the BBC’s most iconic and enduring shows, with millions of fans around the world.

The BBC came to Zag for a digital campaign that could harness the excitement of their fans leading up to The Doctor’s 50th anniversary episode, an episode that would be shown in 94 countries around the world and feature three famous Doctors.

Zag created an interactive TARDIS website which acted as a hub for fans to show their support for the Doctor – to send messages, upload content and explore. The more content the fans shared and uploaded, the more exclusive previews of the coming episode they were able to unlock. The TARDIS was supported by on air trails, specific to the site, which ran across the BBC. In addition, digital outdoor showed a feed of the TARDIS and the content being uploaded into it.
